Yusupha Ngum is a Melbourne based singer and songwriter originally from Gambia, West Africa. As the son of a famous griot (a West African traditional singer and storyteller), Yusupha draws on traditional songs with strong cultural roots, while blending contemporary sounds with powerful rhythmic phrases.
